Legalizing Death was a 16 week project covering California's 2014/2015 debate over The End of Life Option Act, which ultimately legalized Aid-in-Dying in the state. The text and video piece includes arguments from both sides of the issue, featuring the state senators who proposed the bill, Dan Diaz whose wife's death reinvigorated the movement for legalization, and Marilyn Golden, an advocate for disabled people who led the opposition.

The piece was published nationally by Univision, in both English and Spanish.
